Obverse: The obverse of the coin depicts a horse-drawn postal carriage. Above the carriage is the name of the country “SLOVENSKO”, and below is the name of the route and the date of the anniversary “1823 VIEDEN BRATISLAVA 2023”. In the center of the coin is a postal horn, a postal symbol that can be seen on the postal coats of arms of many countries. The outer ring of the coin features the 12 stars of the European flag.
Reverse: The reverse of the coin shows the denomination of 2 euros and depicts a map of Europe.
About the coin: The 2 euro commemorative coin is intended to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the start of the horse-drawn express mail route between Vienna and Bratislava.
