Obverse: the upper ring of the coin bears the words 'JORNADA MUNDIAL DA JUVENTUDE LISBOA 2023' (World Youth Day, Lisbon 2023). The coin depicts a pilgrimage cross in the centre and several figures forming the shape of a globe. At the bottom, two hands seem to embrace the whole composition. The name of the country of origin of the coin, 'PORTUGAL', is embossed at the bottom.
Reverse: normal denomination of the €2 coin.
About the coin: This €2 coin was issued in 2023 to commemorate the World Youth Day held in Lisbon. The obverse was designed by João Duarte and the reverse by Luc Luycx.
