Obverse: the 2-euro coin dedicated to Ukraine and freedom shows a girl holding a bird. The design also features a grain of wheat. The motto 'SLAVA UKRAINI' (Glory to Ukraine) is embossed on the top. At the bottom is the name of the country of issue and the year "EESTI 2022"

About the coin: the Bank of Estonia has put into circulation a €2 coin dedicated to Ukraine and freedom, designed by a young Ukrainian refugee studying at the Estonian Academy of Fine Arts. The Bank of Estonia will donate the proceeds from the sale of these coins to the Central Bank of Ukraine. This is the first time that a coin issued by the Bank of Estonia has featured a foreign-language text, but it was an exceptional case as "Slava Ukraine" embodies Ukraine's drive for freedom.
