Obverse: on this side of the coin, in the middle, is the Estonian national emblem. Around the emblem, the words "EESTI VABARIIK 2021" (Republic of Estonia 2021) are engraved in a circle. The emblem depicts the sea waves.
Reverse: a stylized compass with directions and coordinates (58 ° 23′09 " N 24 ° 29′49 ") is engraved in the center. These coordinates indicate the Estonian city of Parnu, which is carved next to them. There are also waves depicted on this side of the coin, only this time larger and more stylized.
Parnu celebrates its 770th anniversary in 2021. In honor of this event, the Bank of Estonia issues a commemorative silver coin dedicated to the Hanseatic Parnu. The design of the coin features the geographical coordinates of Parnu and a compass. This is the third in a series of collectible coins dedicated to Estonian Hanseatic cities.
