Reverse: the obverse of the coin features the inscription "جنيه عربي سعودي واحد ضرب في المكرّمة مكة ١٣٧٠١" (eng. one Saudi Gunayh minted in the Holy City of Mecca) and the year of the coin according to the Islamic (Hijri) calendar "1370" (1951 m.). At the bottom, the denomination "1" on both sides of the denomination is palm trees.
