About the coin: 20 marks gold coins bearing Wilhelm II were struck from 1890 to 1913 at various mints of the German Empire. They were minted in .900 fine gold and contained 7.168 grams of pure gold. Wilhelm II was the last German Emperor and the last King of Prussia, ruling until the end of World War I in 1918. Today these coins are valued both for their gold content and their historical significance.
