Obverse: the obverse depicts the priest and poet Maironis. At the top is the inscription “LIETUVOS BANKAS”, at the bottom the denomination “DVIDEŠIMT LITŲ”. In the center above the denomination is the year of printing of the banknote “2007”, and below the denomination is the signature of the Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania.
Reverse: depicts the ensemble of the Vytautas the Great War Museum in Kaunas. Maironis is buried near this museum. The second component of the reverse is the sculpture “Freedom” by J. Zikars, an image of a winged woman breaking the shackles of oppression. At the bottom is the denomination “DVIDEŠIMT LITŲ”, at the top right corner is the coat of arms of Lithuania.
About the banknote: this is a historical 20 litas banknote with an error in the certificate, which has a high numismatic value.
