Reverse: two adult elephants with long tusks are depicted, with the savannah and the famous Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. The words "AFRICAN WILDLIFE" are engraved around it, with "ELEPHANT 1 oz Ag 999.9" at the bottom of the coin.
Obverse: the coat of arms of the Republic of Somalia depicts the year "20 20" minted on the sides, the national name "SOMALI REPUBLIC" engraved on the top of the coin and the denomination "100 SHILLINGS" at the bottom.
About the coin: African elephant coin first appeared in 1999, the Zambian coins. But since 2004, these coins minted officially the Republic of Somalia, by issuing a coin every year with more and different reverse design.
