Reverse: the reverse of the coin depicts Koala sitting on a branch. In the left side of the coin are minted coin weight and silver purity "1 oz. 999 SILVER" and also the letter "P", which is the mint mark of the Australian Perth Mint.
Obverse: the obverse of the coin shows the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing necklace (Australia valid for a constitutional monarchy, in which Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is the Queen of Australia). The coin engraved with the words "ELIZABETH II", the name of the state "AUSTRALIA" and year of the coin "2009". At the bottom of the coin is inscribed the denomination of the coin "1 DOLLAR". Below queen image engraved in the designer's initials JC (Jody Clark).
Packaging: each coin is packed to the manufacturer (The Perth Mint) hard plastic capsule.
