Reverse: the coin depicts the Beaufort Goat, with its royal heraldic shield in its nose. The words "YALE OF THE BEAUFORT", the weight of the coin and the year of mintage "1/4 oz FINE GOLD 999.9 2019" are engraved on the edge of the coin. The coin designer's sign "JC" (Jody Clark) is at the bottom.
Obverse: Queen Elizabeth II is depicted in the obverse of the coin, with a circle inscribed "ELIZABETH II D G REG F D 25 POUNDS".

This Beaufort goat is a mysterious beast of hypopotam size with an elephant tail and a wild boar jaw. He reached the queen through Henry VII, who inherited it from her mother Lady Margaret Beaufort. Today, this Mystical Goat can be seen by protecting important educational buildings such as: "Yale" University, Christ College and Cambridge St. John College.
