Reverse: korean coat of arms depicted with a floral motif at the bottom. The release date is engraved on the lower outer edge.
About the coin: South Korean gold coins of beautiful design were introduced in 1988. To commemorate the XXIV Olympic Games in Seoul. This series consists of 4 uniquely designed coins that celebrate South Korean culture. This series of coins is interesting in that the motifs highlight different aspects of Korean folklore and traditions rather than describing the Olympics.
