Obverse: the obverse of the coin depicts an Angel standing on a pedestal with the French constitution in hand and writing on it. The inscription "REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE" (French Republic) is engraved on the top of the coin. The left side of the coin depicts the hands of justice (lat. Fasces lictoriae), and the right side depicts the Rooster, which since Galician times has been a French symbol of awakening, vigilance, the herald of the call to rebirth and the call to fight. The name "DUPRÉ" is engraved on the bottom of the coin.
