Obverse: The obverse of coin depicts Jesus Christ and majestic halo around his head. Above it we can see a flying bird in the form of the Holy Spirit, which is symbolizing Christianity. The name of the country "CITTA 'DEL VATICANO" is minted on the sides of the coin. At the bottom we can see a denomination "10 EURO".
Reverse: The reverse of the coin depicts the coat of arms of Pope Francis. On the left we can see the word "FRANCISCVS PP." and "VIII + MMXX" on the right. On the bottom of the obverse we can see Pope Francis phrase "MISERANDO ATQUE ELIGENDO" (eng. By having mercy, by choosing him).
About the coin: the Vatican's 10-euro gold coin is dedicated to the sacrament of the Holy Baptism. Coin designer - Maria Carmela Colaneri.
