Obverse: The obverse of the coin depicts a Tiger cub lying next to a bamboo forest, with a Korean temple in the background, above which is the name "KOREAN TIGER" and the year of mintage "2021". Just below, the weight of the coin is engraved on the right-hand side of the coin, and the word “GANGNEUNG” is engraved on the bamboo stem on the left-hand side of the coin, the town of South Korea where the mint is located.
Reverse: The reverse of the coin depicts the contours of the "united" North and South Korean states, which are depicted in Korean characters as QR code symbols.
